At Eliteland, mycelia are cultivated in submerged culture
(liquid cultivation in fermentors, similar to the technology
used to make most antibiotics), on the all-natural nutrient
base.
The quality of cultivation is technically
controlled and similar to the methods used in the original
research.
It has already been shown that several medicinally important
polysaccharides are produced in this way as seen with PSK
and PSP from Coriolus.
Compared
to less expensive production methods such as culturing on
a solid nutrient base, our mycelia is contamination free
and more potent.
